Tegan and Sara have shared the official music video to their new single “I’ll Be Back Someday.” The band released the track late July as the first single off their forthcoming ninth studio album Hey, I’m Just Like You. The color-blocked visual includes throwbacks to the technology and iconic imagery of the 90s.
Hey, I’m Just Like You sees the sisters revisit the first songs they had ever written together and give them new life. Found on cassette tapes discovered upon researching for their debut memoir High School (out September 24th), the songs capture the organic chemistry of their roots through contemporary production.
The sister duo will be touring this fall in support of the new album and memoir starting in Brooklyn on September 24th at Murmrr. Full tour dates can be found below.
