When I woke up yesterday, I felt like there was a piece of the old me fighting for some time behind the steering wheel. I put on While You Stay Secluded and spent my morning roaring through a collection of A Day To Remember songs that I haven’t listened to in nearly five years and ran through the day looking for the angstiest pop-punk that I could find. Like magic, The Second After appeared with a brand new music video for a song called “Homewreck Sick” that is second only to calamine lotion when it comes to helping scratch that itch.

The track rips and roars through the highs and lows that come from ending a relationship, and the hook is so monstrous that you can’t help but give into the infectious energy that radiates from it. This is the first from their forthcoming Treadmill at the Finish Line EP, which is due out April 6th through their new home at Revival Recordings.

When asked about the song, The Second After says: “We’d like to present our new single, Home Wreck Sick! Writing this song was such a joy for us, as well as a pivotal point in the development of our sound, and we’re so happy to finally be able to share it with you!” The band also had this to say about finding a new home on Revival Recordings: “We are so excited to be a part of the Revival family! It’s awesome to be working with a team of people from our home state, all focused on the same goal. The new music we have coming is an energetically, fun packed assortment of tunes people will be able to jump around to. 2018 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for us, and we couldn’t be happier with the group of people we have supporting and pushing us to the next level!

Pre-orders for the record will be available soon. The video for “Homewreck Sick” can be seen above.
