Ariana Grande has released her new single “Boyfriend” in collaboration with her Sweetener World Tour mates, Social House. Along with the song, Grande and Social House dropped the music video. The video, directed by Hannah Lux Davis, sees Grande and Social House’s Mike “Mikey” Foster flirtatiously avoid labels at a lavish party while simultaneously getting caught up in jealous fantasies.
The track is Grande’s second non-album single this year, following the release of her cheeky collaboration with Victoria Monét, “Monopoly.” Grande is set to headline Lollapalooza this weekend and is in the midst of her Sweetener World Tour, concluding in December of this year.
Social House – Michael “Mikey” Foster and Charles “Scootie” Anderson – are set to release their debut EP, Everything Changed… on August 9. The release includes their latest single “Haunt You.” The pair had a hand in writing and producing the smash singles “thank u, next, and “7 Rings” with Ariana Grande and have joined the pop superstar on her Sweetener World Tour this year.
