Chicago recording artist Emily Blue is defined by her fearless, creative and consistently amazing songwriting abilities. Recently, her latest release “Call Me!”, a Blondie cover song, transformed the singer/songwriter into a forthcoming superstar. Eager to follow up on the popularity, Blue previews her highly-anticipated new album in lead single, “Bad Decisions”.

Produced by Blue herself–alongside longtime collaborators Max Perencio and Dino Zisis–”Bad Decisions” is a magnificent new sound from the rising star that is a perfect jump-on point for newfound fans to come aboard on. A new personal favorite for Blue, the song correlates with the summertime vibe and antics that young adults embrace annually. Carrying a summer bop, Blue describes the song’s concept as, “the hook and title are just me owning the fact that I’m a very imperfect person, and I’m trying to have fun with the idea of making mistakes.”

Visual Culture is a well-blended infusion of past, present, and futuristic of pop music. Blue credits the inspiration behind the upcoming EP to the iconic 80s indie-retro sounds. Visual Culture will be available 2020 via frtyfve Records.

For the rest of 2019, Emily Blue will be on the road on her own self-promo tour. Wrapping up in her hometown of Chicago this October, the tour will hit Nashville, Dallas, New York, and more. For show dates near you, follow Emily Blue on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook for complete tour dates.
