Cleveland six-piece Welshly Arms have unveiled their new single “Learn To Let Go”. A catchy folk-rock piece, “Learn To Let Go” highlights the importance of letting go of one’s own overly critical thoughts, and sometimes just letting oneself forget. It follows the band’s long-awaited full-length debut No Place Is Home (2018), which features their breakout hit “Legendary”, and a bevy of other singles that have scored the band a pretty strong following. With a new single less than a year after the release of their full-length, it’s clear Welshly Arms show no signs of slowing down.

As the title suggests, “Learn To Let Go” deals with the self-imposed limitations that can come with being in one’s head 24/7, and puts into song the shackles of overthinking that can prevent us from reaching our full potential. “As an artist, it’s so easy to get stuck in mental quicksand and overthink everything,” frontman Sam Getz says. “‘Learn To Let Go’ is a reminder to get out of your own head and move on from the past, to open yourself up to the possibilities that might be right in front of you.”

The group spent the better part of last year on the road, performing over 100 live shows and headlining their first North American tour. This summer, they found themselves touring with Thirty Seconds To Mars and Walk The Moon, and appearing at quite a few festivals around the world, including Lollapalooza, Firefly Music Festival, Hangout Music Festival, BottleRock and more. There’s no word yet on whether this release precedes another album announcement in the near future, but we’ll be sure to keep you up to date with the latest.
