Hailing from the UK, Harker are set to show off their fiesty and furious, but catchy new garage-punk/skate-esque jam, “Flex Yr Head.” The track is set to debut this Friday via Wiretap Records. In a release, the band states, “‘Flex Yr Head’ is a stab at the armchair activists, the ones that speak of evil but are too centered to heed the call of action. It’s easy to point the finger, but harder to admit you’re part of the problem.”
The new song carries a very aggressive overtone, but is accompanied by this really sweet pop-punk riff. If you love old-school Goldfinger or even blink-182’s punk songs, you’ll love this new track. Take a listen below.
The band is going to be hitting the road later this month with shows in the UK as well as even Japan. This run will include a stop at the Manchester Punk Festival. A full list of dates can be seen below. Who’s heading out to a show?
