Following an earlier tweet from founder Kevin Lyman (which hinted at Warped Tour’s plans for their 25th anniversary), Warped Tour has now made the official announcement: they will be returning in summer of 2019.

It’s hard to call it returning, since Warped Tour never went away, only having previously stated that last summer’s run would be the last “cross country” Warped Tour. Lyman previously told Billboard in an interview, “Not that I’m completely going anywhere, but traveling around the country with a tour this size in the landscape that we’re in is… to be honest, I’m just tired.”

The plans for the 25th anniversary of Warped Tour differ from the previous cross-country runs, in that they appear to be marketed as separate, standalone events. According to the information released so far, there will be five separate events: two on the east cost, two on the west coast, and one in Cleveland, Ohio. Cleveland is the only specific city mentioned so far, and while previous iterations shows took place at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, it’s not confirmed where the event will be held in 2019.

More specifics are not currently known about the events, however, Warped has announced that they will be releasing specific locations and venues on January 28th, with the lineup announcement coming in early-March along with ticketing information.
