Australian pop-rock band Stand Atlantic have announced their signing to Hopeless Records. The trio will be releasing their new album, Skinny Dipping, on October 26th.

Skinny Dipping serves as a follow-up to their Sidewinder EP, released last year. Expanding on the idea behind Skinny Dipping, Stand Atlantic guitarist/vocalist Bonnie Fraser explains that “Skinny dipping can be seen as an innocent thing you do for fun. But at the same time, you’re naked and vulnerable and exposing yourself to anything in there. There are things in life I sometimes feel are either unimportant or something I shouldn’t be talking about. It can be so isolating to be truly honest, but to have people accept you is so freeing.”

In addition to the announcement, Stand Atlantic have also released a new song called “Lavender Bones,” which you can find at the top of the post. It is an energetic pop-rock track with a massive chorus that will have you craving more from this up-and-coming trio.

If you like what you hear from “Lavender Bones,” you can pre-order Skinny Dipping here ahead if it’s October 26th release. Additionally, Stand Atlantic will be heading out on tour supporting Neck Deep on their upcoming fall tour. You can find those tour dates below.
