After being friends for many years, Bowling for Soup’s Jaret Reddick and the Dollyrots’ Kelly Ogden have announced their plans to officially team up for a duets record under the relevant, simple name of Jaret and Kelly. This, of course, follows their years of touring together with Bowling for Soup and the Dollyrots, a covers record, and a previously released duet single “Love Ya Love Ya Love Ya.”

Jaret and Kelly will be releasing their first whole duets album, Sittin’ in a Tree, on December 7th. The record was produced by Linus of Hollywood, and makes their first complete record of all new original music. Expanding on the album, Jaret and Kelly state that “There are songs that sound like our bands’ music, modern alternative songs, songs that are almost country, electronic beat-driven songs…and they are all awesome! We will make you wanna dance, wanna cry, and maybe wanna take over the world with us!”

Jaret and Kelly are inviting fans to pre-order the record here, with some cool and fun perks to give back to you. All supporters will receive an instant download of the acoustic version of their new song “Here We Go!,” as well as additional exclusive songs leading up to release.

Pre-order packages will range form $10 up to as much as $5,000. This includes: starting out at $10 with a digital download of Sittin’ In a Tree, then different prices tags can get you options such as the band playing a house show for you anywhere in the continental U.S., autographed CD, polaroids, Skype session with the band, personalized songs, and more before capping out at $5,000 for you to be referred to as executive producer on the new album.

In addition, Jaret and Kelly will be hitting the road for a Euorpean tour later this year, which will feature the Dollyrots, Jaret Reddick solo, and surprise duets between the two performing new songs off the upcoming record. Check out all of those tour dates below!
