Last Thursday, we reported that Man Overboard might be getting back together — based on a since-deleted Facebook event and also a Live Nation ticket link.

Today, the band themselves have confirmed that they are, in fact, getting back together for a string of shows this winter. Man Overboard will be celebrating the 10 year anniversary of their band.

That’s right, you are reading the correctly: not only will Man Overboard be returning for these shows, but they will be supported by the long-revered Seahaven. It will be a return of sorts for Seahaven, who have been mainly radio silent as well since 2016.

When we started this band 10 years ago we never thought it would take us the places it did. We traveled the world and created a wealth of memories. We experienced great triumphs and our fair share of setbacks. It’s a journey that shaped who we all are as people today and something we are eternally grateful for… come celebrate 10 years with us,” Man Overboard explained via a Facebook post.

At this time, it is unclear what the future holds for Man Overboard — or if there is one outside of these three shows. Since their formation in 2008, they released a handful of EP’s and also four full-length records. The band, of course, famously coined the “Defend Pop-Punk” phrase and sparked a whole movement out of it, leaving their own mark on the pop-punk scene.

Tickets for all three shows — New York City, Philadelphia, and Cambridge — are set to go on sale tomorrow at 10am. You can chose your preferred date and pick up tickets here.

11/30 – New York, NY @ Gramercy Theatre

12/01 – Philadelphia, PA @ Theater Of Living Arts

12/02 – Cambridge, MA @ The Sinclair
