Up-and-coming Connecticut alt-rock trio American Amnesia have just recently released their debut full-length record, titled …Yet Here We Are, via Prophet Motive Records LLC.

Combining ’90s alt and grunge rock with more modern aspects of the genres, the young Torrington-area band sound well beyond their years — in terms of sound, creativity, and experience. There’s a lot of surprising unpredictability in the songwriting (lots of impressive guitar solos, too) and that makes for an interestingly dynamic listen — a huge foot in success’s door for a young, new band.

“The songs and the band’s chemistry and energy was so dynamic,” says the album’s producer, Howard Nemaizer. “Their sound was so unique, sophisticated and identifiable; it was clear early on that there was something very special going on here and that these weren’t some teenagers jamming in a garage.”
