In recent years, it seems the number of festivals just keeps rising. Essentially, on any given summer weekend in a city not too far from you, there is probably a fairly impressive festival happening. Unfortunately, none of us concert attendees have unlimited time or money, so we are forced to pick between lineups. This leaves competition at an all-time high. Festival organizers have seen this increase in competition and have had to make tough decisions on how to react. This includes Goldenvoice’s FYF Fest.
FYF Fest has been around for 15 years, but unfortunately, they have been forced to cancel this year’s festival due to poor ticket sales according to a report from Billboard. Their original lineup was set to include Janet Jackson, Florence and the Machine, My Bloody Valentine, St. Vincent, the xx, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Future, and more.
