Can you believe it’s been almost five years since Thirty Seconds To Mars have released an album? That’s right – their fourth studio album Love, Lust, Faith, and Dreams was released way back in May 2013. The band shared a new single, “Walk On Water,” last August as the lead single from their fifth album, with the second single “Dangerous Night” being released this January. Pre-orders have now been made available for the as-of-yet untitled album, which will be released on April 6.
While it may seem odd to pre-order an album whose title yet to be shared, fans have an incentive to do so: album pre-orders will come with pre-sale access for Thirty Seconds To Mars’ newly announced tour, The Monolith Tour. A trailer for the tour can be seen at the top of this post.
In terms of support acts, The Monolith Tour has something for everyone in the alternative and indie spectrum. Joining Thirty Seconds To Mars on the road will be Walk The Moon, Substream #57 cover stars Misterwives (who will also be supporting X Ambassadors this May at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO), K. Flay, Joywave, and Cleveland-based blues/rock and roll band Welshly Arms. The full list of dates can be seen below; head to Thirty Seconds To Mars’ website for more info and to pre-order the album before pre-sales begin this coming Monday, February 12, at 10am local time.
