Think about the biggest rock and roll bands out there: they have number one songs, they play the biggest festivals, and their headlining shows always sell out in advance. Greta Van Fleet has all of those things – their debut single “Highway Tune” was number one on Rock Radio for five weeks and has over 11 million streams on Spotify; they’re set to perform at festivals like Coachella, Rock On The Range, and Hangout Music Festival this year; and they sold out every one of their 2017 headline dates in advance – but what they don’t have is an album (the group released their first two EPs, Black Smoke Rising and the From The Fires double EP, in 2017).

Greta Van Fleet are spending January and February working on their debut album in Nashville and Detroit; just as they did on the EPs, they’re teaming up with producers Al Sutton and Marlon Young. The album is expected to drop in late spring or early summer on Lava / Republic Records, but until more details are announced, fans are in luck, as Greta Van Fleet have now announced several headlining tour dates for April and May to coincide with festival performances.
