Of all of the new stars to come out of the woodwork in 2017, perhaps one of the most surprising is Bhad Bhabie (née Danielle Bregoli, and first known to most as the “Cash Me Outside” girl). If you’re shocked to see that she’s maintained more than fifteen minutes of fame and pursued a musical career, you wouldn’t be the only one: as told to VICE News in a recent clip, while she’d always loved music, she never saw herself becoming a musician till she heard herself in the studio.
After a handful of singles and videos released last year (which began with “These Heaux”), as well as the announcement of her signing to Atlantic Records, Bhad Bhabie has hit the ground running in 2018 with another video. This one’s called “Both Of Em”, and it sees her driving through the desert in the Inland Empire of California while being chased by police cars. But it isn’t her tendency to use her phone or snooze behind the wheel (or the fact that, at 14, she’s still too young to drive in both California and her native Florida) that has them on her tail: later in the video, a dirty secret is shown hidden in the trunk.
Bhad Bhabie is constantly interacting with fans on Twitter and Instagram, as well as creating videos where she roasts (er… reacts to) everything from fan art to various pop culture moments. One of her greatest clips is this one of her mom and grandma reading some of her lyrics.
