Oh, you don’t know FOXTRAX? Prepare to fall in love.
There is something bittersweet about recognizing the fact that nothing last forever. Understanding such an idea allows us to appreciate the beauty of the moment, but also cements the fact nothing can ever be as it was in the past. We can never go back, only forward, and thankfully there are hardworking artists in the world working to provide a soundtrack to lift our spirit when the going gets tough.
FOXTRAX are a band like those described in the paragraph above. They exist to make life easier for music fans by providing a deeply-moving soundtrack for life that touches on experiences we all go through. The band has partnered with Substream to share the world premiere of their new single “Nothing Lasts Forever,” and we feel confident in saying you’re going to love what you hear. The song is also the title track from the bands forthcoming sophomore EP, which is set to be released October 27. Take a listen:
Speaking on the creation of “Nothing Lasts Forever” FOXTRAX vocalist Ben Schneid told us:
“‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ is about the fleeting nature of all things in life. This song is more specifically talking about how the bad times in life don’t last forever. It is really hard to be a young artist. You have to fight and grind really hard to make it and that can be really challenging and overwhelming. Every once in a while you remind yourself that it doesn’t last forever and this moment will pass.”
