Was the world ready when Bhad Bhabie– a.k.a. Danielle Bregoli, the “Cash Me Outside” girl- released her debut single, “These Heaux”, and the accompanying music video in August?
Absolutely not, but perhaps we shouldn’t have been so surprised to see an artist that’s a product of her environment and our society dropping what’s likely a Kylie Jenner diss track. And as a society that loves to obsess over the things we claim to “hate”, we also shouldn’t be too surprised to see that the “These Heaux” video has over 22 million views on YouTube. At 14 years old, Bhad Bhabie is the youngest artist to ever debut on the Billboard Hot 100 and ever since “These Heaux” dropped the question on everyone’s mind has been “Will there be more music from Bhad Bhabie”?
The answer is yes, and there already is: Bhad Bhabie has dropped a “remix” of Tee Grizzley and Lil Yachty‘s “From The D To The A”. With her remix comes her own version of the lyrics, where she’s chosen to clap back at all of the haters who try to take her down (something she does regularly on Twitter) by bragging about how successful she is: in the first verse she raps, “Why you bitches penniless, you rode a Bentley yet? / You still riding coach now bitch, I’m on the private jet.”
In case the “From The D To The A” remix isn’t enough for you, Bhad Bhabie has also signed to Atlantic Records, where she’ll be joining a roster that includes everyone from Coldplay to Ed Sheeran to Kelly Clarkson– so there will certainly be more music to come. In the remix she disses a “broke hoe” with a “record deal worth 11 bucks”- and while we’re not sure exactly how much she was offered for a recording contract, we have a feeling it’s much more than that.
No details for an EP, mixtape, or album from Bhad Bhabie have been announced, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated when more music comes in to the picture. For now, check out a behind the scenes video from the “These Heaux” video, below.
