Just a few weeks ago, Michigan rapper, singer, and songwriter NF (Nate Feuerstein) announced the release of his third studio album, Perception, and now he’s back with his latest single “Let You Down.” Like the recently released “Outro” and “Green Lights”, it spares no time in diving in to his personal experiences, tackling his relationship with his father, who he feels like he’s let down: “Yeah, I guess I’m a disappointment / Doing everything I can, I don’t wanna make you disappointed”, he laments in the first verse.

While NF’s 2015 debut album Mansion saw the rapper opening up about his life, 2016’s Therapy Session (which hit the #1 spot on Billboard‘s Top Rap Albums Chart) saw him realizing the power his music had in connecting with fans through their own struggles; due out on Friday, October 6, Perception is sure to be the next step in coming full-circle.

There’s no doubt NF fans are excited for the album, and with reason: there’s something truly powerful about finding music to take solace in through hard times, and NF has been that guiding light for many. Just a week after the digital pre-orders were launched, Perception is #3 on Amazon’s rap chart and #6 across all genre pre-orders on iTunes. The physical pre-orders have also been Capitol Music Group’s fastest selling of the year to date.

Listen to “Let You Down” below, and be sure to keep up with NF on his website: like his album pre-orders, tickets to his shows tend to sell fast, so be on the look out for tour dates.
