We covered Truitt back in the fall of last year, with siblings Brett and Brigetta providing some tune that we still have on repeat in our playlists. Today the duo gave us another track to add to that list, an excellent electro-pop song called “Tokyo” (via PopCrush).

Brigetta takes the vocal lead here and knocks it out of the park. As she shows off her stellar vocal abilities, she longs for spontaneity in a relationship, which manifests in a request to visit Tokyo. The beat and instrumental were crafted by producer Light House, and between the production and Truitt’s songwriting and performance chops, “Tokyo” is certainly a contender for song of the summer.

Truitt released “Tokyo” through their own label, Orange. Give the track a listen below, and be prepared to fall in love with it.
