What’s the best thing about MUTEMATH? Well, there are a lot of things to love, but a major plus is that we never have to wait too long for the group to put out an album. This is still holding true, as the hype for the band’s fifth release, Play Dead, is churning into motion. Today, the band shared “Stroll On” off the new album, and it goes to show they’ve definitely still got it (via Fast Company).

The lyrics encourage the listener to do exactly what the title of the song says–moving on when things become stale or just don’t work anymore. The first part of the song includes cascading chimes and synths that come in and out like a siren. The back half gets a little more distorted and darker, indicating that maybe it is indeed time to “Stroll On.”

Play Dead doesn’t have a release date yet, but we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as it does. The album is being put out through Wojtek Records, the same label that put out the band’s 2015 release, Vitals.
