One of the best things about music is its ability to connect artists from across the world. This is true when it comes to connecting them with fans and with other artists to create killer collaborations. Both have come into play today, as Australian musicians Cosmo’s Midnight (Patrick and Cosmo Liney) have teamed up with the UK’s Clementine Douglas, lead singer of band Kudu Blue, to deliver new single “Mind Off.”
The Lineys clearly know what they’re doing, as the song is incredibly sleek and polished. It’s effortlessly danceable while containing enough nuance to warrant a good sit-down-and-listen on some quality speakers or headphones. Douglas only sings through the first two minutes of the song, but makes the most out of her time on the track. The last minute is reserved for the duo to really show off what they can do with an instrumental. You won’t be disappointed.
