Hot on the heels of several high profile festival performances Ghastly has finally shared the video for his Matthew Koma collaboration, “We Might Fall”.
Directed by Ghastly and Montana Martz, the video seen above for was filmed in Alberta, Canada on a shoe string budget. Ghastly has always maintained a high bar for quality with everything he has released, but this project feels a bit more personal than most. The clip follows a mysterious young woman as she traverses the Canadian wilderness, interacts with wild animals, levitates, and channels a sense of power that goes beyond that of a normal human being.
Longtime fans of Ghastly will be quick to note that the sound of “We Might Fall” is a bit different than what the producer/DJ has delivered in years before. We talked to him about it for the next issue of Substream Magazine, which is due to hit stands in late August, but right now our lips must remain sealed. Just know the evolution you have seen and heard up to this point shows no signs of slowing anytime soon.
Ghastly has a few more festival appearances coming up this summer. He can also be found at his ongoing Las Vegas residency with Marquee in the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Dates and additional performance information can be found on his official website.
