The Ohio punk rockers in CityCop haven’t released an album in six years, but that’s all about to change when their new record The Same Stories That Never Get Old drops on July 21 via Small Mammal Records. The band–consisting of Max Adams (guitar, vocals), Eddie Gancos (vocals), Cody Mikesell (drums) and Shane Sehmer (bass)–mix upbeat, chaotic verses and slowed down bridges with lyrical depth to create an exciting listening experience.
Today, we bring you the premiere of CityCop’s music video for “I Took The Ride” off their upcoming release.
When asked about the video, Adams said:
“Our video for ‘I Took The Ride’ was created by Todd Thompson, our former bass player. We dedicate this video and the entirety of the new record to him. It’s the least we could do to acknowledge everything that he has done for this band in the past five years. He is, and always will be, our brother and best friend.”
