In January, Mew shared the news that their seventh album,¬†Visuals, would be arriving in April. Now here we are in April, and the album is just a few weeks away. In anticipation of the release, the Danish band shared a video for “Twist Quest” from the upcoming record. (We hope you’re a fan of birds.)

The video features the same kaleidoscopic light display from the official audio video for “Carry Me To Safety” from January. This time around, the lights are in the shape of bird heads placed upon shadowy figures. These figures are adorned with shrouds like wings and show off some very goofy, yet strangely mesmerizing dance moves. Because there are birds, there’s also an egg that hatches at the midway point of the video. Mew’s lead vocalist Jonas Bjerre directed the video, which you can check out below.

Visuals is out on April 28 through Play It Again Sam. Pre-orders for Visuals are still ongoing.
