Remember that sense of fear you felt for the future of Lightning McQueen after that initial Cars 3 teaser dropped way back in December? Remember how your heart began racing as you saw his once shiny paint job connecting with dirt and concrete while McQueen crashed mid-race? Remember actually caring about a third Cars film?

Well, if you’re still on the fence about seeing the movie and want to save money at the theater, Disney has your back. The first proper trailer for Cars 3 manages to tell what appears to be the entire plot of the film in under two and a half minutes. It’s a feat that, while amazing, completely removes any need to haul your family to the cinema and shell out $10(+) a ticket when the film is released on June 16.

It’s incredible, really. The first two Cars films are among the longest Pixar has produced, yet this trailer manages to squeeze an entire story into 145-seconds while also delivering laughs, romance, and a brand new villain. Sure there are race sequences that are no doubt well animated and thrilling in their own right, but you and I both know where a story like this is going based on what we see at the top of this page. This is familiar territory, and from the looks of it there is little to no innovation found in this story.

The official plot synopsis for Cars 3 reads:

Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez, with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!
