Laura Marling is one of the best folk singer-songwriters operating today, and we’re thrilled to hear new music from her. Marling has given a taste of her upcoming album, Semper Femina, with a great new single, titled “Wild Fire.”
As stated in a press release, the new album “addresses questions of how society views sexuality and gender but without seeking to provide definitive answers” while also chronicling Marling’s own experiences as well. “Wild Fire” definitely embodies that, with the English songstress asking some of those questions while her guitar playing creates a full, warm folk sound. “Is there something on your mind, something you need to get by?
