Back in August, Marshmello and Khalid teamed up to release “Silence.” This unlikely combination of dance music and R&B soon proved to be one of our favorite songs of the summer. If the original wasn’t enough for you, you’re in luck, as there are now several remixes available. In addition to the numerous versions available on Soundcloud and YouTube, Marshmello himself has curated a list of four official remixes from SUMR CAMP, Slushii, Illenium, and Tiësto.

SUMR CAMP appears to be a relatively new producer, as the only song he has available on Spotify is his “Silence” remix. SUMR CAMP’s remix puts the emphasis on the vocals, with an echo effect used to bring them to the forefront; when it comes time for the chorus a four-on-the-floor beat hits. Following the release of his emotional dance record Out of Light in August, Slushii has brought his high-spirited “feelsy” producing style to “Silence”, for a remix that sounds right in tune with his original music. Illenium’s version of the song is a more melancholy take that features a guitar, and Tiësto’s take is a faster, upbeat one that’s destined for the dance floor.

Each of these producers has put their own signature spin on “Silence”, and we encourage you to dive in and lose yourself in the music by listening to all four remixes below.

Following his current run in Europe, a handful of US shows into November, and a run in Asia, Marshmello has also announced a handful of US tour dates for early 2018 in San Francisco on January 12 and 13, New Orleans on January 18, Detroit on January 19, New York on January 26 and 27, and Buffalo on February 1. Tickets are on sale for these shows now and can be purchased through his website here.
