Progressive county star Bryan Andrews has elected to mark America’s 250th anniversary with his new mixtape, Independence Day, which can be found here.

The 8-track project continues a breakthrough year for the outspoken country star, who has reached millions and gone viral many times over for his un-apologetic brand of country storytelling that continues to challenge wha the genre can say and stand for.

Independence Day features two new tracks, “Home of the Chained” and “Backwoods Backwards,” plus recent viral hits “Are We Great Yet?”, “Yeehaw”, “Not See”, and “The Older I Get,” which previously topped Billboard’s Country Digital Song Sales, Digital Song Sales, and Emerging Artists charts. A new official video for “Backwoods Backwards” also just dropped from Andrews, which can be found below.

Alongside the project, Andrews has announced his “Taking My Flag Back” U.S. headlining tour for this fall. The tour will kick off on Election Day, November 5th, in Washington D.C. and run across the country before wrapping up on December 15th in Phoenix, Arizona. Lou Ridley will serve as support for the entirety of the tour. Tickets will go on-sale this Friday, July 10th local time here.
