Fast rising country star Tucker Wetmore has shared his highly anticipated second single, “Wind Up Missin’ You.”

The love-struck single has had fans eagerly anticipating its arrival since Wetmore began teasing it via social media a while back. Penned by Wetmore with Thomas Archer and Chris LaCorte and produced by Justin Ebach, “Wind Up Missin’ You” has already garnered significant traction prior to its official release today as its surpassed 26 million views, 34K+ Shazams and over 100K user-generated videos online

I’m incredibly proud of this song,” Wetmore says. “It paints a picture of young love to me, something we’ve all had a taste of at some point. Me and my buddies poured our hearts into it trying to capture that feeling just right. When we wrote it, we knew we had something special, but it was the support from the fans that turned it into something bigger than I could’ve ever dreamed of. You guys changed my life with the last song, and I hope y’all enjoy this one too.”

Following last month’s debut single, “Wine Into Whiskey,” the new track peels back another layer of who Wetmore is as an artist, songwriter and gifted vocalist. Seamlessly blending his modern Country twang and inherent pop sensibilities, the track finds Wetmore determined to extend a fleeting encounter into something more meaningful, setting his sights on winning over the heart of a special someone. By further introducing the edges of his signature style, while skillfully striking new accents within it, he holds his intriguing mystique as he moves from newcomer to one to watch in 2024.

Just last month, Wetmore catapulted on the scene with “Wine Into Whiskey” that soared to No. 22 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and No. 77 on Billboard’s Hot 100 – making him the first independent Country artist to hit the Hot 100 since Oliver Anthony Music. Debuting at No. 8 on Spotify’s Top Songs Debut U.S., the song’s massive release day immediately caught the attention of industry heavyweights, with Forbes touting “he’s clearly off to a great start” and Billboard proclaiming “it seems like only a matter of time before Country radio wraps its arms around it.” The song went on to receive five adds on Country radio independently as it clocks in at over 28M total global streams.

Wetmore’s meteoric rise continues to be fueled by social media as he surpasses over 45M+ views in the past 60 days and a staggering 64,000% increase across platforms. Boasting nearly 1M+ followers on TikTok and Instagram alone, Wetmore’s dedicated fan base eagerly anticipates seeing his music live. Fans won’t have to wait long as he joins Kameron Marlowe’s Strangers Tour next week, kicking off in Nacogdoches, Texas on April 4 before hitting the legendary Billy Bob’s Texas on April 5.
