New York based collective Sky Society recently released a collection of songs called “Between The Sounds (Vol. 1)”. The 3 song EP lasts just over 8 minutes in listening time and offers a wide variety of different sounds.
A stand-out track on the EP is “One Day” with rising sound maker Twanz. The track begins with a slow drum pattern, almost trance-like inducing melody, and quick transitions from one sound sequence to the next. The drums pick up and fade throughout the duration of the listen. And an interesting change of pace compared to what most mainstream listeners are used to.
The sound sequence crafted by Sky Society was built for a purpose to tap in with the deeper senses we have as human beings. It’s definitely interesting to listen for anyone looking to expand their thoughts and music catalog.
