As bands get further into their careers, often comes career-spanning releases that are packaged beautifully and masterfully for fans. Today, one of the most notable alternative-acts from the 90’s announced that they would be following suit: Matchbox Twenty.

The band announced a blockbuster, career-spanning vinyl boxset, which will be arriving on November 20th of this year. The release is available now for pre-order here, and the first 100 copies sold will be signed by Matchbox Twenty.

The limited edition collection will include all of the band’s studio albums, including debut pressings of MadSeason, More Than You Think You Are & North. The five album set also includes Exile on Mainstream Revisited, a re-imagined version including 10 additional bonus and rare tracks also pressed for the first time on vinyl.

The package was first exclusively announced by Matchbox Twenty to their MB20 fan club subscribers, and will also include a detailed 24-page booklet featuring exclusive band photographs, liner notes and a career retrospective penned by Billboard executive editor Melinda Newman.

Additionally, Matchbox Twenty will be releasing archival footage and newly remastered music videos over the coming months, in addition to contesting opportunities to win autographed box sets, a signed test print of Yourself or Someone Like You, summer 2021 concert tickets and more.

Matchbox Twenty is planning to hit the road for their rescheduled tour next summer, with The Wallflowers joining them. The tour is slated to kick off on July 26th, 2921 at The Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, and to wrap up on October 7th at the Hollywood Bowl. The 2021 tour is the band’s first since 2017’s “A Brief History of Everything” tour which marked the 20th anniversary of their album Yourself or Someone Like You. Head here for more info.
