Hailing from Alabama, but currently residing in Los Angeles, up-and-coming singer/songwriter Kenneth Rankins is ready to step into the spotlight for his formal introduction, titled, Imperfect. Driven by heartbreak, the 15-track collection delivers an amazing new sound that bridges the gap between the past and future.

Imperfect’s campaign began with lead, “Just Hold On” and followed with breakout tracks, “Damage” and “You Hurt Me”. The album is about the journey man’s trials and tribulations of love. Finding love, enduring heartbreak and remaining hope for eternal happiness.

Rankins on making Imperfect:

“By picking up my pen to write my own imperfect story changed the outcome about how others feel about me. I totally get it now that I was just a vessel passing through and it’s ok that my perspective changed.”

While a debut, Imperfect follows up a series of buzzworthy EPs titled, Broken Records, Love + Heartbreak and The Covers Project. The debut album is the evolution of Rankins musical journey as he steps into the spotlight for his chance at superstardom.

A lifetime of Gospel, 90s FM R&B and Soul, Kenneth’s sound was inspired by R&B greats like Brian McKnight and Gerald Levert. Moving to Los Angeles years ago to pursue his dream, Rankins has climb throughout ranks with catchy writing and tremendous vocals.
