Northbound is releasing a new album titled Soul Kiss on November 22nd and now the singer/songwriter has just released a new song, “Bad Blood.”

To lead into Soul Kiss, Northbound initially announced the album with the lead single, “Hurt Today.” Back in August, Substream premiered the track “Tonight” which will not be included on the record. However, fans can hear the album in full later this month via Smartpunk Records.

“This song is mostly about an irrational anxiety of needing to be on good terms with people,” Jonathon Fraser – the master behind Northbound – explains. “Even those who have done me wrong. I blatantly say that I wouldn’t write anything in ‘bad blood.’ It’s quite a literal tune. On the surface, I’m totally aware that sometimes puzzle pieces just don’t fit and that’s okay, but sometimes I am willing to paint myself as a villain and take the blame to keep the peace.”
