Get excited, Soccer Mommy is back!
That’s right, following the release of her debut album Clean last year, Soccer Mommy (the performance moniker of Sophie Allison) has given fans a brand new song called “Lucy.”
The track comes just in time to officially start the spooky season, as it takes on a darker tone for the singer while still maintaining her dreamy delivery. Of the new song, Allison shared in a press release:
“‘lucy’ is a really fun song for me because it has a dark, evil vibe. It’s a song about struggling with inner demons and your own morality, but I masked it with this scenario of being seduced by the devil. I’m really excited to share this with everyone because I think it shows a different side of my writing.”
