Jimmy Eat World have announced all of the details regarding their 10th studio album, Surviving. The record will be released on October 18th via RCA Records and will serve as their follow-up to 2016’s Integrity Blues.

Surviving is one of the band’s most personal and ambitious records to date, as Jimmy Eat World continues to maintain their relevance to the world. Vocalist/guitarist Jim Adkins explain that, “Surviving explores some of the different kinds of weights my ego tells me I have to carry, what I see people around me choosing to carry and what I have found to be the truth when I choose to let go.”

Additionally, Jimmy Eat World have unveiled the first single “All the Way (Stay).” The song explores the virtues of letting people discover the real you while you open up and expose your own vulnerabilities. At first you hear the polished alternative-rock that Jimmy Eat World has given us for years, but with an added saxophone solo and backing vocals from Rachel Haden.

The 10-track Surviving was produced by the band and Integrity Blues producer Justin Medal-Johnson, and can be pre-ordered here. An exclusive white colored vinyl will also be available through Independent Record Stores and the band’s website.

But, that’s not all for Jimmy Eat World. They’ve announced the first leg of their headline tour in support of Surviving. The tour will kick off on November 2nd in Fort Collins, Colorado and wrap up on November 22nd in Orlando, Florida. Tickets will go on-sale this Friday, September 27th at 10am local time. More dates are expected to be announced.
