The Menzingers have just released another new single, “America (You’re Freaking Me Out).” Their upcoming album, Hello Exile, will be released on October 4th via Epitaph Records.

“America (You’re Freaking Me Out)” serves as the opening track off of Hello Exile, and finds The Menzingers kicking off the record with a resilient and impressive energy that touches on the current political climate of the U.S.

“We’re living in a pretty insane time, where all you can think about every single day is ‘What the hell is going on with this country?’” says vocalist Greg Barnett. “But as I was writing that song I realized that it’s kind of always freaked me out, especially coming-of-age during the Iraq War. I love so much about America, but I think you can’t deny that there are some people in power who are absolutely evil.”

Directed by Rob McConnaughy (whose previous work includes “I Don’t Wanna Be An Asshole Anymore” off the band’s 2014 release Rented World), the video shows an alien life-from that travels across the U.S., freaked out by the current political climate.

The Menzingers will also be heading out on a fall headlining tour in support of Hello Exile. They will he joined by Tigers Jaw and Culture Abuse, kicking off the tour on October 25th in Columbus, Ohio and wrapping up on December 7th in Boston, Massachusetts.
