The multi-talented singer/songwriter/actress Sabrina Carpenter has just released a brand new single called “Exhale.” The single was co-written by Carpenter, Johan Carlsson (Charlie Puth, Ariana Grande) and Ross Golan (Pink, Luis Fonsi) and produced by Carlsson.

About the meaning of the new song, Carpenter explains that “‘Exhale’ is the second song being released from act 2. I have been singing this song on my most recent tour for my fans exclusively and it has garnered even more meaning to me than it originally possessed. This song lets you in a little deeper to what you might not see on the surface. I hope it helps others to breathe.”

“Exhale” comes on the heels of “Pushing 20,” which was a single recently released in anticipation of Carpenter’s upcoming 20th birthday and her feature on the Alan Walker track “On My Way.”

Carpenter recently wrapped up her headlining tour of North America back in March, and is currently set to perform on Good Morning America’s summer concert series on July 5th.

This summer she will be releasing Singular: Act II, the highly anticipated next step in her musical career. Additionally, Carpenter takes on her first starring film role in The Short History of The Long Road, which premiered at The Tribeca Film Festival last week, and will be seen in the upcoming Netflix comedy Tall Girl.
