Time to get your hydration packs and neon booty shorts ready! Spring Awakening is just around the corner. The Midwest’s biggest EDM festival will take place June 7-9, and headliners include DJ Snake, GRiZ, Illenium, Martin Garrix, Rezz, and Zedd. The full lineup and additional details will be dropped on Friday, March 15th, so keep an eye out for the announcement. Over 90 artists will perform over the 3-day weekend, coming from all walks of EDM, future house, and dubstep. It’ll be interesting to see what new acts are coming to Spring Awakening’s stages, and who will be coming back for a return performance.
Spring Awakening is moving out of the city and to the Northwest suburbs to a bigger location. The massive EDM festival will take place June 7-9 at Poplar Creek at 59-90 Entertainment Center in Hoffman Estates. While some fans might have to adjust to the change in location, moving the festival to the suburbs has its advantages. The new location has 27 acres of land, which means more space for giant, fire-breathing stages, art installations, and, for the first time in SAMF history, on-site parking. Additionally, a complimentary shuttle from the Metra will provide rides to and from the grounds.
VIP and GA tickets are available on Spring Awakening’s website now. Concert-goers can pay for their tickets installments if they want, making VIP a more affordable option than ever before.
Don’t forget to check for the full lineup this Friday, and we can’t wait to see you there!
