New Jersey-based alt-rock outfit Painted Young have announced the upcoming release of their new EP, ‘I’m Not Gonna Wait’. The EP, available on all platforms April 12th, will mark the band’s second full work.
“This EP is very long overdue, and it feels good to be finally putting new music out there, frontman Chris Santos says. “The songs on this EP are all based on personal experiences I’ve had. Whether the lyrics tend to be more direct (“Want your song? Here you go.”) or more metaphorical (“The Madhouse”), it’s all an extension of myself or something I’ve gone through.”
Painted Young wants us to expect new music in the near future. “At the rate I’m going at, there might be potential for even more new music by the end of the year.
