New Jersey-bred singer/songwriter/producer Skrizzly Adams is buzzing right now thanks to his latest single, “Resurrect Me”. Much hype surrounding the new sound, Skrizzly enlists the creative mind of popular director Patrick Tohill (NF) for the song’s visual presentation.

Tohill on the making of “Resurrect Me”:

“While the song has a variety of different meanings to different people, it seemed to evoke the same emotions among its listeners; this treatment really took those emotions and put a positive and empowering message behind it, while shedding some light on some very important topics.”

Skrizzly Adams has received highly-decorated praise from many of music’s biggest names like super producer Boi-1da (Drake). Skrizzly’s production was recently featured on Chris Webby’s latest project, There Goes The Neighborhood.

Adams identifies his signature sound as “true heartland”. Inspired by vintage genre but creates his own boundaries.

“I play by my own rules,” He details, “I’m trying to paint a picture of life,” he leaves off. “Things go up. Things go down. I tried to make my music like that. A moment is ugly. A moment is romantic. As long as a moment is honest, it will resonate. I want to capture the intensity, frustration, and moments of passion we all experience.”
