It’s no secret that Buddy Nielsen and Senses Fail are big fans of Demi Lovato. The band have previously tweeted about her just a few times. The band even previously promised that they were releasing a music video that was about Lovato and attempting to win her over, and to kick off the new year, they have dropped that music video.
The video is for “Elevator to the Gallows” and shows members of Senses Fail entering some sort of boot camp to win Lovato’s love — serving as a juxtaposition to the heavy subject manner of the song.
On the video, Senses Fail shares the following note:
“We are all big fans of Demi. We’ve tried to @ her on Twitter but to no avail! So we took the logical next step and made a video devoted to winning her attention. Having personally struggled with addiction I know all too well what Demi has been through. We want her to know Senses Fail loves her and wishes her the very best!
Your best friends who you don’t know yet, Senses Fail.”
In case you were wondering, yes Lovato did see the video and replied herself:
Also – I love you @SensesFail. Your video is everything 🙏🏼💕
