Delta Sleep is the latest England indie-rock band to begin their journey breaking over into the United Staes. It all started when the Brighton quartet — consisting of Devin, Glen, Dave, and Blake — released their latest album, Ghost City, earlier this year via Big Scary Monsters.
Appearing on Ghost City is standout eclectic track “Dream Thang.” It’s a song that encompasses all of the things that make Delta Sleep so intriguing: loud, quiet, and energetic music all thrown into one. Today, we are excited to bring you the next part of their musical journey: the music video for “Dream Thang.”
The video was filmed by the band members partners as they traveled through Spain this past summer, including some live footage, swimming, cats, and more.
“Last summer we had a one off show at a festival in Catalonia in Spain. We turned it into a little 4 day holiday, rented a villa in the countryside and our girlfriends came along. We thought it’d be a fun idea to get our girlfriends to film us on our travels, and this is the final PG-13 version of what they filmed,” Delta Sleep explains.
Following the release of Ghost City via Big Scary Monsters back in August, Delta Sleep first made the rounds over in the U.S. While that tour only hit the Midwest and East Coast, the band managed to sell out every show, thus bringing them back to the states already. This time around the band will be focusing on the west coast: kicking off on November 15th in Seattle and wrapping up on November 24th in Las Vegas.
