Academy Award-nominated actress and multiplatinum musical artist Hailee Steinfeld has released a new single, “Back to Life.” The track will appear in the upcoming movie, Bumblebee, which is slated to hit theaters on December 21st.

“Back to Life” will be featured prominently in Paramount Pictures’ upcoming Transformers spin-off, which Steinfeild additionally stars in alongside John Cena. The entire soundtrack will be available in stores and on all streaming services when the film opens in theaters nationwide December 21.

An original song written for Bumblebee, “Back To Life” serves as another upbeat and undeniable anthem from Steinfeld. It’s warm synths and big screen-worthy production prove as irresistible as the singer’s infectious and incendiary hook. The chorus is fueled by a sweeping crescendo and handclap as she charismatically belts out the lyrics, “I’m bringing you back to life.”

“Hailee’s song beautifully captures the central theme of the movie that inspired it,” says Travis Knight, director of Bumblebee. “‘Back To Life’ is a stirring, high-spirited tribute to the redemptive and healing power of love.”

This is not the first track that Steinfeld has released in 2018, following the BloodPop collaboration “Capital Letters” the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack and the MNEK team-up “Colours.”

Steinfeild also has a lot lined up through the end of the year, as she voices the character of Spider-Gwen in the upcoming animated film, Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse. Even more on top of that, she is also currently in production on the original Apple series in the title role of “Dickinson,” which is their upcoming half-hour television series about 19th century poet Emily Dickinson.

It is safe to say that Steinfeild remains an undeniable presence throughout music, film, and just pop culture as well. She has a lot lined up through the end of the year, and looks to continue to grow even more in 2019 with more music and surprises.
