Bishop Briggs released her debut album, Church of Scars, earlier this year on Island Records and has yet to look back since. The album features her RIAA Gold certified single “River” and propelled her into the spotlight, performing at numerous festivals – including Ohio’s Bunbury Music Festival – and traveling all over.

Despite releasing Church of Scars just back in April, Bishop Briggs has now released a new single called “Baby.” The music video – which can be found at the top of this post – is an animated video featuring her real-life boyfriend Landon Jacobs of Sir sly, following the two on an intriguing colorful ride. “So beyond excited to share the ‘Baby’ music video with you all,” Briggs explains. “I was so lucky to work with the genius that is Malia James, who directed the video and made my vision a reality, Anja Slibar, who is one of the most incredible illustrators ever and the unbelievable SEED Animation, who made it all come to life! This was the first time I’ve ever done an animated video and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to do it with. This song is all about being free to be yourself so having the ability to use animation to help depict the crazy things going on in my mind is the ultimate dream. I hope you enjoy the magical places this video goes and let your mind run wild. Thank you in advance for watching!”

Bishop Briggs also heralds that more new music is on the way, expected to drop very soon. In the meantime, you can check out “Baby” at the top of the post. Below you will find all of the dates for Briggs’ upcoming world tour.
