Novagolde get extra spacey on self-titled EP

Madison, Wisconsin’s Novagolde have a new, self-titled EP out containing four tracks of space-rock that might be summed up as Broken Bells meets Muse in a garage. That’s a good thing — trust us.

Airy electronics and ethereal, post-rock guitar float around driving drums and a solid vocal delivery for roughly 17 minutes of rock that’s easy to get lost in. If you need a break from the stresses of your day to just clear your head and space out, Novagolde’s newest release is gonna do the trick.

“We created this EP with a common desire to write about the impact of changing times, loss, and a desire to escape,” the four-piece says via press release. If you share that desire to escape, you can do so by listening to all four tracks from Novagolde below. Let us know what you think.
