grandson has announced that his new EP, a modern tragedy vol.1, will be released on June 15th. It will be his label debut on Fueled by Ramen Records.

Expanding on the EP, grandsons states “a modern tragedy vol. 1 is my first cohesive body of work. It’s a sort of state of the union as told from a fed up, disenfranchised, pissed off young poet.”  He continues on, “This is the only way I know how to release my anger and frustration with the pervasive recklessness and corruption that seeps into how we treat the environment, how we treat one another and how we treat ourselves.”

In addition, grandson has debuted an official music video for his new track “Blood // Water,” which can be found at the top of this post. It is the first song off of the 5-track EP — an EP that collectively finds grandson confronting pressing political and social issues that impact our generation. You can find the album artwork and track-listing below.
