PREMIERE: Lost In Society release punk rock anthem "Creature" -- new EP 'Eager Heart' out May 25th

New Jersey is no stranger to punk-rock and churning out staples in the scene: The Misfits, The Bouncing Souls, Lifetime, and The Gaslight Anthem just to name a few. Let us introduce you to your next favorite New Jersey punk band: Asbury Park’s very own Lost In Society.

Today, we are proud to be exclusively sharing the news of their new EP, Eager Heart, which is set to be released on May 25th via Wiretap Records. The EP, which was recorded with Pete Steinkopf of The Bouncing Souls, will be Lost In Society’s debut with Wiretap Records. Regarding the new EP, frontman Zach Moyle shares, “I think with this EP, I dove into some emotional and psychological channels more than the previous releases. I questioned myself and who I am as a person a lot while writing some of this record.”

In addition to the EP announcement, we have the privilege of premiering for you the first single off of Eager Heart, titled “Creature.” The track is an absolute anthem for anyone who listens to punk-rock. From the opening guitar melody to the thumping bass throughout and to Moyle’s vocals, Lost In Society has created a track that wouldn’t sound out of place on a Hot Water Music record. “‘Creature’ is kind of a tongue & cheek song about being a washed-up punk and knowing nothing else. Somewhat regretting poor life decisions, but also not giving a fuck because you’re an old punk and that’s all you know,” says Moyle.

Lost In Society have spent a lot of time over the past 5 years on the road, supporting artists such as Unwritten Law, Face to Face, 88 Finger Louie, and more. They have a handful of shows coming up this May, and will be appearing at Fest in Gainesville, Florida this fall.
