New York based Olden Yolk is back with another music video for their song “Gamblers On A Dime.” This video comes from their self-titled album, which was released this February via Trouble In Mind Records.
When asked about “Gamblers On A Dime” Shane Butler stated, “The song is written from the perspective of one friend speaking to another who is at a point of desperation. Their conversation touches on the fragility of circumstance and how one small move can either lead one to reclaim or lose themselves completely. The film itself was shot by Venezualan artist Luis Arnias who is a close friend. It uses lush abstraction and a non-linear narrative to play with themes found in the lyrical content of the song.”
