Everyone’s favorite national holiday is coming soon… That’s right people, Record Store Day is just around the corner. On April 21, record stores all over the country will offer exclusive releases (and most have some pretty wild discounts too). Whether you’re the type who camps overnight to get the limited releases or you’re a casual shopper in it to support your local record shop, here’s what you can look forward to this year.

  • The Shins are releasing Los Lobos v. The Shins, a split 12″ featuring three different versions of their song “The Fear.”
  • Run the Jewels are releasing Stay Gold box set with a clear vinyl, stickers and an RTJ slipmat.
  • Sufjan Stevens is releasing Mystery of Love EP on red 10″ vinyl.
  • Mac DeMarco is releasing Old Dog Demos, a collection of instrumentals and unreleased songs.
  • Nas is releasing Illmatic: Live at the Kennedy Center featuring his 2014 performance backed by the National Orchestra.
  • Arcade Fire is releasing their debut EP on vinyl for the first time.
  • The National is releasing Boxer (Live in Brussels), a live recording of their 2007 performance.
  • Car Seat Headrest is releasing their 2011 album Twin Fantasy on vinyl for the first time ever.
  • Prince’s album 1999 will be repressed for the first time since 1983.
  • Courtney Barnett is re-releasing A Sea of Split Peas, a double EP of I’ve Got A Friend Called Emily Ferris and How To Carve A Carrot Into A Rose.
