We’ve been fans of indie-rockers Wallows since they began releasing music last year, and it seems we’re not alone: their first single “Pleaser” has nearly five million streams on Spotify; last summer, they sold out five headlining shows at venues like The Troubadour and The Roxy in Los Angeles and Mercury Lounge in New York City; and their current headlining tour has sold out several performances as well. It was only a matter of time before the industry at large caught on; Wallows have now signed to Atlantic Records.

Along with the signing announcement comes the reveal that Wallows’ debut EP Spring is officially on the way. A release date has yet to be revealed, but based on the title, we wouldn’t be surprised if it’s out in the next few months. They’ve also shared the first song and music video from Spring, and it’s called “Pictures Of Girls.” Produced and directed by Shelly, the video has a nostalgic feel (it was shot on Super 8 and digital), but it feels fresh in its candid portrayal of youth, as the band members (Braeden Lemasters, Cole Preston and Dylan Minnette [Clay from Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why]) are shown in Atwater Village and Downtown LA.

Wallows are now on their debut headlining tour; see the list of remaining dates below and pick up tickets here.
